Alexandra holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, and MSc and BSc in Economics from the University of Turin. She has ten years’ experience working as environmental economist in the EU and UK public sector on climate change policies; at the independent advisory body Committee on Climate Change advising UK Government; and in private sector consulting at WSP and Ricardo. She has strong experience in providing analytical assistance, and policy and strategy advice to senior decision-makers, as well as in carrying out research and authoring reports and publications directly influencing UK and EU government policy. In ICONS, she drives forward EU-funded projects with a focus on sustainability, developing exploitation strategies for innovation results and evaluating key socio-economic impacts of research.
