Boosting the impact of (your) research project’s results
HRB is the main European Commission’s initiative aiming to maximise dissemination and exploitation impacts of research and innovation projects funded by FP7, Horizon 2020 and HE.
ICONS is part of the consortium, led by Meta Group, providing Dissemination, Capacity Building and Go-To-Market Support services under the Horizon Results Booster.
ICONS & HRB at a glance
ICONS provides two services aiming to support Communication & Dissemination activities of Clusters of projects.
The first aims to create the baseline for joint dissemination activities (Module A) and the second focuses on jointly planning and executing common dissemination activities (Module B).

Module A - Creating the baseline to boost dissemination of joint results
Following the creation of a Cluster of attuned projects providing alike solutions to common challenges, ICONS carries out a thorough analysis aiming to identify the commonalities among the Cluster members.
Joint Key Exploitable Results and common stakeholders are identified, in order to create a common Research & Innovation results portfolio. Moreover, insights and recommendations are given to the Cluster to initiate joint dissemination activities.
This analysis allows the consolidation of the Cluster and the identification of joint dissemination targets and objectives. In addition, it is a unique opportunity to exchange views and enlarge your contact database.

Module B - Implementing joint dissemination activities & enhancing dissemination skills
This service focuses on planning and implementing joint dissemination activities for the newly created Cluster.
First, a common Portfolio Dissemination Plan is written by ICONS, followed by the creation of a set of joint dissemination materials: a video, a factsheet, and a joint visual identity. These materials visually support the Cluster in strengthening its common identity towards their key stakeholders.

Enhancing dissemination skills
ICONS supports the implementation of at least one joint dissemination activity, which will be defined together with the Cluster: from the organisation of a webinar to the development of a social media campaign, from the creation of a policy brief to copywriting support.
Capacity Building Courses to foster best practices
Finally, tailored capacity building courses are offered to the Cluster to improve knowledge and skills about how to plan, execute dissemination activities and monitor their impacts.
At the end of the service, the Cluster will have built the baseline for a fruitful and long-lasting collaboration.
