Gustavo holds an MSc in New Media and Society in Europe from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and brings over a decade of experience in communication and project management, with an in-depth understanding of the “EU Bubble”. Skilled at making complex scientific topics accessible, he has led communication and dissemination for impactful research and innovation projects across several sectors, including energy, environment, and smart cities. Fluent in English, Italian and Spanish, he joined ICONS as a Senior Communication Officer in 2024, where he now oversees communication activities for projects on sustainable urban infrastructure and climate adaptation and supports the implementation of the Horizon Results Booster.
