Valeria holds a master’s degree in Communication, Evaluation and Social Research for Organizations (Università La Sapienza) with a thesis about community radio as a medium of informal education in the south of Bolivia. She has been working in digital communication and communication for development in different organizations, from the United Nations to public institutions and the private sector, spending a couple of years in South America (Ecuador and Colombia). Valeria joined ICONS in 2025 as Social media and video making officer.
