About the project
EFFECT enhanced visibility and impact of FET research among a wide variety of actors (researchers, industry, policy makers, civil society, citizens and students).
The project stimulated debate and collaboration among multiple stakeholders through dedicated community building and public engagement activities. EFFECT is the forerunner of the ongoing FETFX project.
The fetfx.eu website developed by ICONS won the 2018 .eu Web Awards under the “Laurels” category.
Our role
ICONS acted as EFFECTS’s coordinator and communication leader.
In the course of the project, we designed and implemented the FETFX information hub www.fetfx.eu, winner of the 2018 .eu Web Awards under the “Laurels” category for its inspiring stories, consistent visual design, great use of content tagging.
