About the project
dRural co-develops and implements a digital solution that delivers multiple services to rural citizens while creating opportunities, economic growth and quality of life improvements.
The aim is to transform it into the reference digital service marketplace for European rural areas. The project will build a service network for rural areas and communities based on four regional demonstrators in rural areas in Spain, Sweden, Hungary and the Netherlands. The project’s additional key objectives are to guarantee successful exploitation and sustainability after the project’s lifetime and its replication in other European territories.
Our role
We lead the communication and dissemination activities, project’s exploitation strategy and plan.
ICONS is also responsible for the definition of the dRural Baseline Impact Measurement and the assessment of the dRural solution’s impacts, with a focus on social innovation.
