About the Project
DIRECTION set up a framework for demonstrating and disseminating energy efficiency technologies.
Highly innovative and cost-effective for low energy new buildings, the projects aimed at bringing down primary energy consumption levels to below 60 kWh per m2 per year. Demo buildings were located in Valladolid (ES) and Munich (DE) with a fellow demo in Bolzano (IT).
ICONS designed and published the first Best Practices Book including recommendations for each stakeholder involved in the transition to net-zero buildings.
Our role
We led the project communication and dissemination activities and contributed to the development of exploitation strategies.
