About the Project
CITyFiED developed a replicable, systemic and integrated strategy to adapt European cities and urban ecosystems into the smart city of the future.
Aim of the project was to design, construct and manage large scale district renovation projects for achieving nearly zero energy cities. It involved three large scale districts in Laguna de Duero (ES), Lund (SE) and Soma (TR) and engaged 11 cluster cities and a community of more than 40 European cities.
Effective and tailored communication activities fostered citizens acceptance while supporting further replication of the CITyFiED methodology.
Our role
We led the project communication and dissemination activities.
ICONS also played a key role in exploitation activities and in cities networking, engagement and replication strategies.
