Andrea Resta holds a degree in International Relations and Diplomacy and a Master’s in Management of Social Economy from the University of Bologna. He has built a multidisciplinary background in European Project Management, International Cooperation, and Social Innovation.
He began his professional path by coordinating international exchange initiatives focused on human rights and intercultural dialogue, promoting learning mobility and inclusion. He later contributed to research and the development of policy documents on sustainability, social entrepreneurship and impact finance.
Over the years, he has supported the implementation of EU-funded projects through data analysis, content development, and training activities, with a particular focus on performance monitoring and results-based management. He has also contributed to initiatives aimed at enhancing development effectiveness, working with different international cooperation actors and supporting strategic partnerships.
Andrea recently joined ICONS as a PMO Assistant and is eager to contribute to delivering meaningful, positive impact through innovation and collaboration.
