Ani Asatryan

Ani has almost 10 years’ experience in procurement and project management field. She got her bachelor’s degree in physics at Yerevan State University and first master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Systems Management at American University of Armenia. After her studies in Armenia Ani moved to Italy to complement her academic background with two International master’s degrees in public procurement & contract management at University of Rome Tor Vergata and EU project planning and management at Pixel International training center.
She has developed a deep knowledge in IFIs & EU tenders thanks to her long experience in mother country Armenia and in Italy. For many years Ani was leading the bid preparation process and managing R&I projects funded by EC with the specific field focus in Circular Economy (CE) & Security. Her senior level duties covered the preparation and submission of R&D project proposals for EU grants, management and coordination of EU funded projects, international consortium building and networking, development of schemes for dissemination & communication and strategies for impact measurement. To reinforce her knowledge and skills in CE she successfully completed two different training programs: International school in Circular Economy project management by University of Ferrara and Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies by Cambridge Judge Business School. In 2019 Ani was assigned the PM for UNITO partner in the frame of CIRCPRO project – “Smart Circular Procurment” financed by Interreg Europe program.
In 2023 Ani joined ICONS as Project management officer (PMO).
