For the European Sustainable Energy Week 2023, ICONS projects MAtchUP, STARDUST, POCITYF, and Tigon are happy to invite you to the #MySustainableStory Social Media campaign.

This year’s theme is ‘Accelerating the clean energy transition – towards lower bills and greater skills’, so #MySustainableStory aims to highlight the sustainable practices of the different cities involved in our projects. Additionally, the campaign hopes to involve the audience by inviting them to share their stories related to urban sustainability.

Everyone has a role to play in building a sustainable future. By sharing your city’s sustainable experiences, you can inspire others to take action and contribute to a healthier, greener, and more resilient world!

The campaign starts on Monday, June 19th on Twitter.

The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is the biggest event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe and is organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy and the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA).

Reinventing tourism facing Russian boycott: Narva on the edge

Bordering Russia, Narva is an Estonian city of some 50,000 inhabitants in the extreme northeast of the country. Lying halfway between Tallinn and Saint Petersburg, it historically relied on strong ties with Russia. Yet, since the annexation of Crimea and especially the invasion of Ukraine, Russians have snubbed it, thus dealing a severe blow to the city's economy.
