Press Release -

The organisation is one of the official partners of the New European Bauhaus Initiative by the European Commission.

ICONS is proud to announce its partnership with the New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative, having been selected as one of the official partners by the European Commission.

The New European Bauhaus aims to be a creative and interdisciplinary movement for rebuilding a more sustainable and inclusive Europe. It is strongly supported by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and is inspired by the early 20th century German school from which it takes its name.

ICONS’ recognition considers the work carried out by the organization in the years on the development and implementation of effective science communication, social and business innovation strategies to generate awareness, engagement and uptake of research results for the benefit of society at large. ICONS is also committed to fostering artistic talent by managing and supporting international orchestras of early music – Theresia Orchestra and the European Union Baroque Orchestra. This dual focus on scientific innovation and artistic expression underscores ICONS’ holistic approach to societal betterment, recognizing the intrinsic value of both cultural enrichment and cutting-edge research.

ICONS mission is fully aligned with the values and motto of the New European Bauhaus: beautiful, sustainable, together. This mission embraces:

·       inclusiveness through awareness-raising campaigns, social engagement and co-design process;

·       sustainability through our involvement in projects that address social and environmental challenges;

·       beauty through our support and dedication to musical and philanthropic initiatives that emphasise societal impact and cultural excellence.

ICONS’ experience in enhancing human capital, fostering intangible assets, and promoting philanthropic endeavours significantly enriches and contributes to the New European Bauhaus.
