About the Project
URBAN GreenUP develops, applies and validates a methodology for Renaturing Urban Plans to mitigate the effects of climate change, improve air quality and water management and increase the sustainability of our cities through innovative nature-based solutions.
Three front-runner cities – Valladolid (ES), Liverpool (UK), Izmir (TR) – and five fellow cities – Mantua (IT), Ludwigsburg (DE), Medellin (CO), Chengdu (CN) and Quy Nhon (V) – are involved in the project.
ICONS contributed to the development and launch of the NBS manifesto sustaining the green urban transition.
Our role
We are leaders of URBAN GreenUP communication and dissemination activities.
ICONS is also involved in the definition of strategies for citizen engagement and co-creation activities, replication and exploitation activities.
