About the Project
RAIN contributed to minimise the impact of extreme weather events on transport, energy and telecommunication networks.
It developed early warning systems, decision support tools and engineering solutions to ensure rapid reinstatement of the network.
In March 2016 our Video News Release was broadcast by Euronews, with an estimated audience of several millions people. Other 12 different broadcasters from 19 countries took-up the video.
Our role
We have participated as work package leaders of the project communication and dissemination activities.
