Boosting the impact of (your) research project’s results
The European Commission’s new BOOSTER initiative builds on the successful Horizon Results Booster (2020–2024), now scaled to even greater impact. With over €14 million in funding and a team of 300 multidisciplinary experts, BOOSTER aims to unlock the full scientific, economic, and societal potential of Horizon Europe projects.
Through a personalised delivery route, BOOSTER connects projects with tailored core services in dissemination and exploitation, as well as optional add-ons that enhance visibility and readiness for real-world uptake.
ICONS plays a pivotal role within the BOOSTER consortium, bringing considerable experience from the participation in the previous HRB initiative.

Our offerings include:
Advisory & Strategic Planning
- Entry-Level Consultation (Service 1.1) – we help applicants identify the most suitable dissemination and exploitation (D&E) services. This includes introducing the D&E ecosystem, reviewing strategies and intellectual assets, and producing a tailored roadmap for impact.
- Follow-Up Support (Service 1.2) – we provide ongoing guidance to review and adjust the BOOSTER roadmap, monitor progress, update plans, and assess the need for additional support.
Strategic advice: dissemination building block
- Dissemination Support (Service 2.1) – we offer personalised mentoring and strategic advice to enhance the clarity, reach and effectiveness of existing communication and dissemination plans and activities.
Add-ons to boost stakeholder engagement, collaboration & impact
- Networking (Service 3.1) – we support projects in engaging external stakeholders to boost dissemination and exploitation of results. This includes developing a networking strategy, mapping engagement opportunities, and offering guidance for building strong networks at local, national, and international levels.
- Portfolio Analysis (Service 3.2) – we build portfolios of results with related projects for joint dissemination and exploitation, fostering sustainability through networking, clustering, and knowledge exchange.
- Audio-Visual Support (Service 3.5) – we produce short videos to creatively showcase and promote research outcomes.
