About the project
ASTRABAT – All Solid-sTate Reliable BATtery for 2025 – develops new, eco-friendly, all-solid-state Lithium-ion batteries suitable for electric vehicles.
The aim is to avoid dependency on third countries in Europe’s energy transition models. The project will reinforce the European battery value chain, strengthen collaborations between RTOs, SMEs and Industrial partners from material development to integration in vehicles.
Our role
We lead the communication and dissemination strategies, as well as the innovation and market impact monitoring activities.
ICONS is also involved in eco-design, sustainability assessment and cost efficiency analysis across the full lifecycle of the battery prototype.
