Maya Quaianni holds a master’s degree in Performing Arts, Cinema, and Multimedia Communications (Università degli Studi di Milano) with a dissertation on the History of Animation. She later pursued her interest in comics and visual arts through research—participating in academic conferences and collaborating as a research assistant at Scuola IMT Alti Studi Lucca—as well as through the organization and promotion of the ninth art (at WOW Spazio Fumetto, Milan). Alongside these activities, she works as a freelance professional in communication and social media, joining ICONS as a Social Media Officer in 2025.
