Sofia is a policy-oriented young professional with an interdisciplinary background in social sciences, economics, and sustainability. She is currently completing a Master’s degree in Transformative Sustainability at Bocconi University and Politecnico di Milano, where she combines economic analysis with technical knowledge of environmental and innovation systems. She previously graduated in International Politics and Government from Bocconi University, developing a strong interest in public policy and policy evaluation, particularly in the context of the green transition. She further enriched her academic profile through an exchange program at Sciences Po Paris.
Sofia gained institutional experience at the European Commission, DG Competition, where she supported projects on strategic technologies such as hydrogen, batteries, and biotechnologies.
She is particularly interested in sustainability policy, governance of innovation, and the design and evaluation of policies supporting Europe’s green and digital transition.
