An online info session on the European Commission’s BOOSTER initiative will take place on 21 October 2026, from 11:00 to 12:00 (Brussels time). The initiative supports EU-funded projects in turning research and innovation results into real-world impact through tailored, expert-led free-of-charge services.
The session will provide an overview of BOOSTER services and explain how expert guidance can help projects strengthen the dissemination, exploitation and uptake of their results. Participants will also hear first-hand experiences from a beneficiary and their expert from the scheme.
The agenda will also include an introduction to the EU Innovation Platform, the access point connecting innovators, investors and service providers in one centralised space. It helps turn research and ideas into real world impact by supporting innovators to accelerate their go-to-market journey at every stage.
How ICONS supports BOOSTER beneficiaries
ICONS is involved in five BOOSTER services, covering some of the main steps of a project’s path from result to impact. Its contribution includes an Entry-Level Consultation, enabling projects to identify the dissemination and exploitation services best suited to their needs and set out a tailored roadmap for impact, and Follow-Up Support to monitor progress and accompany projects in every step of their BOOSTER journey.
Through the Dissemination Support service, ICONS offers personalised mentoring and strategic advice to strengthen the effectiveness of communication and dissemination activities.
In addition, the organisation contributes to BOOSTER’s add-on services Networking, supporting projects in identifying and engaging relevant stakeholders; and Portfolio Analysis, creating opportunities for collaboration, clustering and knowledge exchange among related projects.
