From 9 to 13 April, the Festival of the New European Bauhaus with Forum, Fair and Fest will take place in Brussels while satellite events will be held across Europe and beyond!

Organised by the European Commission in cooperation with the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, this year’s festival will feature a diverse and fully-packed programme with discussion panels, exhibitions, art performances, and much more.

ICONS’ projects Eyes Hearts Hands and INHERIT will join the NEB Festival with different events.

Revolutions never go backwards

The Eyes Hearts Hands: Urban Revolution (EHHUR) project will develop and test a co-designed methodological structure to support cities in transforming their built environment, using existing good practices and complementing them with the principles of the New European Bauhaus and the EU Missions.

Projects’ partners, RINA, CluBE, LFE, KampC, Biodistretto (Nepi), RIMOND, and ICONS will present the Eyes Hearts Hands actions and methodologies according to the 3 pillars of the NEB programme: Beautiful, Inclusive, Sustainable.

Eyes Hearts Hands will be participating at the NEBULA project’s booth. Funded by the EU, NEBULA extends B4P and New European Bauhaus to establish a network of B4P Innovation Clusters.

Satellite event: Co-creating next-generation solutions for cultural heritage buildings

The online panel discussion will focus on innovative solutions for the preservation and maintenance of cultural heritage.

Guests from different sectors will lead the discussion. They include policy-level representatives, members of the NEB community, experts from academia, entrepreneurs, and representatives from local demo sites.

The webinar will take a bottom-up perspective, emphasizing how important innovation and collaboration are in managing heritage sites.

By prioritizing the well-being and empowerment of people, it will seek to create innovative strategies in resource management.

The webinar will be facilitated by ICLEI Europe with the support of the INHERIT consortium. It is planned as a 2-hour, open, online event. It will be streamed on the project channels.
