ICONS to attend EU Projects Zone at Enlit Europe

ICONS will attend Enlit Europea in Bilbao as part of the BRIDGE and ETIP SNET secretariats and also representing six projects* in the EU Projects Zone.

On site, Sara Lazzarin and Caterina Falcinelli will coordinate the presence of both European energy initiatives within the EU Projects Zone and their dedicated thematic sessions (EUPZ, 5.F30–S018).

Projects showcased in the EUPZ

Within the EU Projects Zone (EUPZ), visitors can learn more about the projects NEUTRALPATH, BuildON, DEDALUS, TALOS, CRETE VALLEY, and AIR4NG.

Cesar Giovanni Crisosto will represent and support TALOS as communication and dissemination officer, coordinating visibility and outreach activities. He will also provide on-site communication support for other EU-funded projects where ICONS is a consortium partner.

The workshop: ‘Energy Communities & Positive Energy Districts’

Interoperable energy communities and positive energy districts are becoming key drivers in the transition to climate-neutral cities across Europe. On 20 November, Silvia Ielmini will moderate the panel “Energy Communities & Positive Energy Districts” (10:00 – 11:30 CET, Theatre 2), in conversation with five Horizon Europe projects (FEDECOM, NEUTRALPATH, InterPED, ASCEND and HARMONISE). The panel will explore how interconnected buildings can evolve into energy communities and scalable, cost-effective, climate-neutral districts. The projects will showcase practical solutions that enable business ecosystems, governance frameworks, stakeholder engagement, and other key levers for urban energy transformation.
