The website developed by ICONS for the EU-funded project FAIRMUSE wins the “Cultural Ambassador” category.
The winners of the .eu Web Awards were announced on November 4th, marking more than a decade of celebrating excellence across the .eu, .ею, and .ευ domains. After a one-year pause, the Awards return in 2025 with a refreshed, digital-first format and winners revealed online.
The website developed by ICONS for the EU-funded project FAIRMUSE (https://fairmuse.eu/) took top honours this year, winning the “Cultural Ambassador” category. The project promotes fair, diverse, and sustainable practises in Europe’s music sector.
This recognition extends ICONS’ strong track record at the .eu Web Awards. In 2023, the organisation’s POCITYF website (https://pocityf.eu/) won the “Better World” category, and in 2018, ICONS was recognised twice: the FETFX information hub in “Laurels”, and the STARDUST smart-city project in “Better World”.
Launched in 2014 by EURid, the .eu Web Awards recognise outstanding websites that showcase the quality, creativity, and impact of Europe’s digital ecosystem. A distinguished panel of Europe’s leading web experts evaluates finalists alongside public voting, raising the visibility of high-performing sites and the organisations behind them.
