Giuliana Folco

Business and social innovation

Giuliana is the director of research, business, and social innovation at ICONS. She has a master’s degree in economics and social sciences from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Milano, and long-term experience in research and analysis of innovation trends in Europe. Since 1997, Giuliana has engaged with the European Commission and commercial players in qualitative and quantitative projects focused on industry and consumers’ requirements, demand for innovative solutions, and implications on organisations’ communication and go-to-market strategies. She has expertise in the assessment of innovation demand and supply, business modelling and planning, social innovation frameworks and citizens/users’ acceptance models, end-user surveys, KPIs assessment and measurement, stakeholder mapping, data modelling and forecasting.
