iCons Srl is part of the ProNano consortium. ProNano (
www.pronano.eu), a Supporting Action funded by the European Commission DG RTD – FP7, offers free of charge advisory and coaching services to companies, research institutions or persons interested in the commercial exploitation of their scientific results in nanotechnologies
ProNano aims to facilitate businesses by obtaining equity financing or licensing agreement, within various industrial applications involving the use of nanotechnology.
Our goal is to help 30 selected research teams to turn their results into commercial products, processes or services, either by creating new spin out companies or by technology licensing. The ProNano services will be supplied free-of-charge, as the initiative is funded by the European Commission DG RTD – FP7.
We are looking for research teams with valuable research results in nanoscience, nanotechnology, materials and new production technologies that may be ready for commercialization within a 2 year time frame.
The project is coordinated by ZABALA (ES) and the consortium members are: FRAUNHOFER (DE), GLE (UK), i.con.innovation (DE), iCons (IT), InvestorNet-Gate2Growth (DK), Orion Innovations (UK), SODENA/FIDENA(ES), Technofi (FR), TECHNOSTART (DE)
